What You Get With Suspension & Shock Upgrades
Smoother Ride, Less Fatigue – A properly tuned suspension absorbs the hits, so you don’t feel every rock, rut, and whoop in the trail. Better comfort means longer, harder rides without getting beat up.
Better Handling & Control – Upgraded shocks and suspension keep your UTV planted, reducing body roll and improving stability at high speeds, in corners, and over technical terrain.
More Ground Clearance – Need to clear bigger obstacles? A lift kit or long-travel suspension gives you the height and suspension travel to tackle deeper ruts, rocks, and jumps with confidence.
Custom Tuning for Your Ride Style – Whether you’re hammering dunes, crawling over rocks, or running at race speeds, we dial in your shock setup, spring rates, and valving for the best performance on your terrain.
UTV/SXS Suspension FAQs
Do I really need to upgrade my UTV suspension?
Stock suspension works for casual riding, but if you’re pushing your machine—whether it’s high-speed desert runs, rock crawling, or deep mud—upgraded shocks make a huge difference. Better suspension = smoother ride, improved handling, and more control.
What’s the best suspension upgrade for my side-by-side?
It depends on how you ride. High-performance shocks improve comfort and handling; lift kits increase ground clearance for tough terrain; and spring upgrades help with weight distribution and stability. We tailor setups to fit your riding style.
How much lift should I add to my UTV?
Most riders go for 2-3 inches for added clearance without messing up handling. Long-travel kits give more articulation for extreme riding, but they require bigger modifications. We’ll help you pick the right setup for your needs.
Can I adjust my stock shocks instead of upgrading?
Some stock shocks have preload and compression adjustments, which can help, but they won’t match the performance of aftermarket shocks. If you’re bottoming out, feeling unstable, or riding rough, it’s time for an upgrade.
What’s the difference between a lift kit and long-travel suspension?
A lift kit raises your UTV to fit bigger tires and clear obstacles, while long-travel suspension gives you wider stance, more suspension travel, and better shock absorption for aggressive off-road driving. If you’re just looking for height, go with a lift. If you want maximum performance, long-travel is the way to go.
